Let's listen to the great songs from Gintama in this post!

Among all anime/mangas, Gintama is a peculiar one. Most of the time it is a slice of life comedy, filled with gags and parodies on other anime/mangas. Occasionally it will return to the main story line, and present some fighting scenes and character developments.

The background of Gintama, just like many other animes such as Rurouni Kenshin, is inspired by the Bakumatsu period of Japan. Many characters were also derived from historical figures in this period. To some degree it encouraged me to learn more about the Japanese history in this period.

Here are the songs from Gintama that was frequently covered:

#1: Samurai Heart (Some Like It Hot!!) (Ending 17)

This is the most famous Gintama song. It's super catchy, and the term "Samurai Heart" precisely fits the anime.
